LORD GOD, please – keep me on a short rope!
Do not let me wander much.
Keep me centered on YOU . . . walking with YOU . . . being in YOUR steps . . .
I pray to be attentive to YOUR Presence, and to YOUR tugging.
I pray to be responsive quickly to YOU . . .
Not to argue, not to struggle.
Just to surrender with that serenity that only YOU can provide.
Just to know that YOU Love me, that YOU Care for me.
Just to let go and let YOU BE GOD that YOU are . . .
: Hebrews 6:19-20 – We have this as a sure and Steadfast Anchor of the soul, a Hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a High Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
- LORD, YOU are my only HOPE . . .
: I John 2:28 – And now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears we may have confidence and not shrink from Him in shame at His coming.
- LORD, I pray for our kids, our grandkids, our great-grandkids, and those entwined. LORD, please.
: Matthew 22:37 – And He said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
- LORD, I love YOU . . . teach me how to love YOU like this.
