Thoughts and Feelings

LORD, only YOU know the thoughts and feelings I have – even those I wish I didn’t have.

Those that plague and torment me – day and night.

Fears.

Worries.

Cares.

Concerns.

When I try so hard to not fear – that seems to be when I am most afraid.

Or when I pretend the fears are not monsters that live in the dark corners of my mind, my heart, my life.

LORD, YOU see.

YOU hear.

YOU know.

Please, teach me YOUR Way of holding up that Shield of Faith – that these flaming arrows of the evil one will be put out!

LORD, when I am afraid, I trust in YOU . . . Thank YOU for those words of Psalm 56:3.

Especially for that word “WHEN”.

I love YOU GOD . . .

I am so thankful that YOU understand me, completely.

: Ephesians 6:16 – In all circumstances take up the Shield of Faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;”

• LORD, teach me HOW . . .

: I John 1:5-7 – This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with Him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the Truth. But if we walk in the Light, as He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the Blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

• LORD, please Help me BE in the LIGHT . . . Live and walk in the LIGHT . . .

: Isaiah 12:2 – Behold, God is my Salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my Strength and my Song, and He has become my Salvation.
