LORD GOD, the thought of YOUR Presence with me brings me comfort and joy these days.
There was a time when it had me being afraid – like Adam & Eve were afraid in the Garden.
But now, there is much comfort, much joy, in knowing the Truth of YOUR Word – that YOU are with me, always.
How can I bring a smile to YOU today?
I think about watching our kids and grandkids – even as they are adults now – and how often they make me smile.
A word they speak.
The laughter I hear.
Their teasing and joking.
Their hugs and sweet kisses.
When they experience good things and great joys.
How can I bring smiles to YOU today?
LORD, YOU are the Desire of my heart.
To walk with YOU, and talk with YOU.
To live my life in a way that Honors and Pleases YOU.
Oh IMMANUEL . . . GOD with us . . . please . . .
