Presence of GOD

LORD our GOD, just to know that YOU are with me.

No matter where I am, no matter what I am doing, no matter who I am with (or not with) – YOU are with me.

And to know that YOU are for me. YOU are on my side!

Wow. What Amazing Grace it is!

LORD our GOD, I face nothing alone.

As a widow, that means more to me than what I can say with words.

There are still times that I feel very anxious, my humanity screams out in fear.

Realizing now that in those times I am focusing on what is seen and known, or just assumed, by me, by my humanity.

How many times does this leave YOU out of the picture?

GOD, YOU see, YOU know, YOU hear.

There is nothing in all this world, in my life, that is hidden from YOU.

There is also nothing, absolutely nothing, that is too hard for YOU.

Please LORD GOD, help me to fix my eyes, my heart, my life, on YOU – even though I can’t see YOU with my humanity.

May all the cries of my soul be verbalizing my cry for YOU – The ONE Who always sees me, always hears me, always knows me.

The ONE Who is always with me.

Then, to focus on carrying my cross today.

Not tomorrow’s cross.

Not next week’s, nor next year’s.

But today’s – only.

One heartbeat at a time.

One moment at a time.

One breath at a time.

This is the day that YOU have made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.

It is a gift from YOU – that’s why it is called “the present” 😉.

LORD GOD, may I find YOU as this day unwraps.

: Romans 8:31 – What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

  • GOD, I am amazed that YOU care. Thank YOU!!!!! Please, don’t ever stop.

: II Corinthians 4:18 – As we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

  • GOD, help me focus on YOU . . .

: Genesis 16:13-14 – So she called the Name of the Lord Who spoke to her, “You are a God of seeing,” for she said, “Truly here I have seen Him Who looks after me.” Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; it lies between Kadesh and Bered.

  • The well of the Living One Who sees me.
  • LORD, I love this Name.
  • Thank YOU for always seeing me. I used to fear that YOU saw me. Now, it’s a treasure to my heart. Thank YOU!!!!!
