Not alone -

LORD, as I walk this life with YOU I find that my innermost circle has become tighter, smaller.

Really – just YOU and me.

The next circle is smaller than I ever thought it would be, too.

The next circle is a bit larger, filled with those who care – but mostly caring from a distance.

That’s been a hard lesson – to leave them where they are and stop trying so hard to draw them closer.

LORD, I want to be all YOURS.

All the time.

No matter where I am, what I am doing, or who I am with.

YOURS.

YOU are weaning me from being dependent on others.

The lesson of not holding space and time for others has been a struggle to learn and to live.

Still is, to be honest.

Thank YOU that walking with YOU, and for YOU, is not a tightrope.

But a wide space of freedom, Love, and Joy.

Takes a while to get my humanity accepting of that 😉

Just to know that YOU are always before me, beckoning me forward – that YOU have been there, that YOU are there!

And to know that YOU have my REAR GUARD.

Then to really realize that YOU are my Best Friend, and YOU are always with me.

Thank YOU GOD!!!!!

I love YOU GOD!!!!!

: Deuteronomy 33:27 – The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. And He thrust out the enemy before you and said, “Destroy.”

  • Leaning on the everlasting Arms.

: Proverbs 16:9 – The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

  • Thank YOU GOD for the Truth of this verse!

: Romans 8:38-39 – For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the Love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  • Thank YOU GOD for the assurance and comfort of these verses this morning!

This picture was taken at a nursery in Lindale, TX.

I had been so lonely, struggling with being alone.

Our daughter and I went on a day road-trip.

One of the many places we stopped was at this nursery.

As we walked through the beautiful plants, I saw this flower.

Alone.

But blooming gloriously.

I needed this reminder - then, and now.
