LORD, this world, my humanity – too much me.
My mind goes from one trouble or problem to another.
Seems to be very little quiet and rest within me.
I want to help.
I want to be involved, included, invited.
I want to fix things.
As David said in Psalm 131 – it’s too much for me.
LORD, I don’t mean to leave YOU out.
I want YOU to be involved, included, and invited – into every breath I take, every move I make.
YOU see, YOU hear, YOU know.
YOU are with me – through it all.
Please, teach me how to turn from my problems to YOUR Presence.
Just to have that deep and satisfying connection with YOU . . .
And to know that no matter what – YOU are with me.
Always.
Nothing is too hard for YOU . . .
Nothing is greater than YOU, either . . .
: Isaiah 41:8-10 – But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, My friend; you whom I took from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest corners, saying to you, “You are My servant, I have chosen you and not cast you off”; fear not, for I AM with you; be not dismayed, for I AM your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My Righteous Right Hand.
- Thank YOU GOD for including me.
: Zephaniah 3:17 – The Lord your God is in your midst, a Mighty One Who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His Love; He will exult over you with loud singing.
- Thank YOU GOD . . .
: Psalm 34:19 – Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
- Trusting YOU, LORD, when I am afraid.
