GRATITUDE

I am learning what the phrase “sacrifice of thanksgiving” means.

I’ve also heard it said this way

– “there’s always something to be thankful for”.

No matter what is going on in me, or around me –

I can be thankful.

I can live with an attitude of gratitude.

Not only in saying “Thank You” to God . . .

But in saying “Thank you” to others in my life.

Thanking the service ones who take my orders

or deliver my supplies.

Thanking the ones who take the time to say a kind word

or have a longer conversation.

Thanking those in my life who are a breath of fresh air,

a light in a dark room.

Life is hard.

Harder without gratitude.

Thank YOU for being here with me in The Cottage,

on The Porch,

and in my life.

I love you.
