COURAGE
I used to think of Courage as being loud and very visible.
A sword drawn or a foot stomped.
A hand raised in defiance.
Now, I know.
Courage is the quiet whisper at the end of a long and hard day that says,
“Try again tomorrow.”
Courage is in that first sip of coffee after a night of no sleep,
or dreams that make no room for rest.
Courage is that first step into the unknown day.
Quiet & Still within.
Commanding, not demanding.
Determined with a Serenity born of change.
