COURAGE

I used to think of Courage as being loud and very visible.

A sword drawn or a foot stomped.

A hand raised in defiance.

Now, I know.

Courage is the quiet whisper at the end of a long and hard day that says,

“Try again tomorrow.”

Courage is in that first sip of coffee after a night of no sleep,

or dreams that make no room for rest.

Courage is that first step into the unknown day.

Quiet & Still within.

Commanding, not demanding.

Determined with a Serenity born of change.

Just Breathing . . .
