Anger
Anger lurks.
Watching, waiting.
Anger doesn’t come out very often.
Every now and then,
something happens that wakes Anger up.
Is he dangerous?
Could be. Perhaps.
Is he unpleasant?
Almost always.
Is he powerful?
Yes, and no.
Depending on the situation.
Uncontrolled Anger can cause damage
– sometimes beyond repair.
However, Anger itself can be what tells me that a boundary has been crossed.
But is he evil?
No.
Anger controlled has a soft voice and carries a big stick
– especially when there is injustice.
Anger sometimes walks with me, speaking in my ear.
Sometimes he even roars within my mind.
But he is learning his place
– and he doesn’t get to run me, my life, or The Cottage.
