LORD, the distractions are so insistent.
Sometimes loud.
Sometimes like a pesky mosquito.
Sometimes clear – and often in the mists of life.
Sometimes they poke me hard and actually hurt.
Sometimes they simply call to me – tugging at my mind and heart.
How do I put aside all these thoughts and distractions when I sit with YOU?
Is that an unreasonable thought to do that?
LORD, I choose YOU . . . above and over all distractions.
But there are times when it seems YOU are sending the distractions – so that I don’t get bogged down in some emotion or thought.
LORD, I am beyond Blessed when YOU meet with me in these times.
Teach me how to open wide my heart and mind to receive YOU more and more – even with the distractions.
: Psalm 27:8 – You have said, “Seek My Face.” My heart says to You, “Your Face, Lord, do I seek.”
- YOUR Face, LORD, do I seek . . .
: John 15:11 – These things I have spoken to you, that My Joy may be in you, and that your Joy may be full.
- Thank YOU GOD . . . oh that YOUR Joy will be in me today.
: I Corinthians 13:12 – For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to Face. Now I know in part, then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.
- LORD, I look forward to that day with YOU . . . to see clearly. Not in a hurry though 😉
