LORD, I need YOU . . . more

Teach me how to seek YOUR Face in the very beginning of my day.

As well as all through the day - no matter where I am, what I do, or who I am with.

To have that connection with YOU.

That I may walk with YOU, and talk with YOU.

That I may have the mind of CHRIST within me.

It's easy to get sucked off into the vortex of social media – first.

Before I even get up for the day.

And then to be greatly distracted by it all during what is to be quiet time with YOU . . .

FATHER, forgive me for allowing that to be.

GOD, help me to do better from this moment forward. 

I remember the message that Rick preached about being "Extension Cord Christians" - that we are not the Power Source, YOU are . . . 

But unless we are plugged into YOU, we are nothing more than a cord laying in the floor - waiting to be a tripping hazard to someone else.

: Psalm 27:8 – You have said, “Seek My Face.” My heart says to You, “Your Face, Lord, do I seek.”

• LORD, I pray to have an undivided heart and mind.

: Romans 13:14 – But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

• LORD, teach me how.

: I Corinthians 2:16 – “For who has understood the mind of the Lord as to instruct Him?” But we have the Mind of Christ.

• LORD, teach me how to have the Mind of Christ.

: Colossians 3:11-12 – This was according to the eternal purpose that He has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, in Whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in Him.
